First, I want to send my deepest thanks to all the reading groups who have taken the uncommon step of adopting The Sisters for discussion while it’s still in hardcover. The greatest post-publication thrill I’ve had so far has been in chatting with various groups–in person, by speaker phone, and by Skype. Every group has its own unique character, which means, for me, that every conversation, every array of questions, is freshly engaging.
